Originally built in 1857, Ewell West Station House required a full renovation after standing vacant for more than two decades.
LJT refurbished this Grade II listed building while retaining as many original features as possible, including the original timber sash windows, feature fireplaces, and traditional lath and plaster walls and ceilings.
As part of the works, all floorboards and carpets throughout the property were replaced. Existing skirting boards and architraves were carefully restored where possible, or replaced where deterioration was beyond repair. A brand-new, fully fitted kitchen and modern bathroom suite were installed, alongside new heating and electrical systems.
The building’s beautiful original feature glass was also meticulously restored, including the fluted glass panels within the front door. Original Victorian oak doors were refurbished throughout the property, helping to preserve the character and heritage of the building.
At LJT, we make the process straightforward, collaborative, and transparent from start to finish.
